Website Accessibility

A great looking website is missing a trick if many people cannot use it or access important information within it.

It is often overlooked by website developers to make a site as accessible as possible.

There are a number of techniques and guidelines for making websites widely accessible for users with disabilities, particular blind and partially-sighted.

My time working with a national UK charity for the blind means I have great experience ensuring websites are accessible.

As a norm I would create any website to comply with the World-Wide Web Consortium's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (W3C WCAG) Level A standard. However, if you would like even greater accessibility I am experienced in creating websites to Level AA or even Level AAA standards.

Accessibility is one of the most overlooked issues on the web.

As a business, you want your website to be useful to as many who use it as possible.
